Wouldn’t it be cool to have a bass boat on the lake with a couple of panels that were see-through? We know that Bass boats are made out of aluminum, but what if there were panels on the aluminum of bottom of the boat they were translucent, and seamless.
If it was done correctly you wouldn’t even need a fish finder, you could see the fish underwater swimming below you. That would definitely be the hot ticket, and it would surely give the advantage to bass boat fishermen. You got to feel sorry for those poor fish with technology like that.
Well, if you think it is impossible to make translucent aluminum, think again. Some scientists in Germany in Hamburg were able to strip electrons off aluminum atoms and making it translucent. Such high-tech material would actually be in what some believe could be a fourth state of matter.
Now there are all kinds of military applications for this, such as the proverbial United States Air Force secret invisible airplane, or predator drone unmanned aerial vehicle stealth aircraft.
But as far as I’m concerned I’d sure like to take this technology fishing with me, how about you?
Of course, right now scientists were only able to do this with a very small amount of material, but in the future, if all this works out they could make panels of just about any size for all types of applications. Maybe you could drink from a translucent aluminum beer can while you are watching the fish swim below you while you are out of the lake. Think about that for a moment.
